A Wellington Press .Association telegram reports the death of .Mr W. F. Barraud, a native of Wellington, aged 75. He was formerly a chemist, but for many years past was interested in art and was an artist of merit himself. A Wanganui Tress .Association telegram reports the death of li'Mr Thomas Allison, solicitor, one of Wanganui's oldest residents, and well-known in rowing, bowling, athletic, and' astronomy circles. An Adelaide Press cable reports the death of Mr Alfred William Styles, aged 52. chief secretary of the Yaughan Cabinet and one of the leaders of the early closing and weekly half-holiday movements.
