The Department, of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated the 24th iust., from the High Commiasioucr for New Zealand, London : BUTTER Demand continues slow with very little New Zealand available and quotations practically nominal. Present quotations are:— New Zealand : Finest stilted, 214/- to 216/- per ewt. (1/11 to 1/11* per lb);' exceptional, 2115/- per ewt (1/111, per lb); unsalled, 214/- to 218/- per ewt (1/11 to 1/111, per lb); other qualities 204/ to 210/ per ewt. (1/9* to 1/1(1.', per ID). . Danish, 224/- to 226/- per ewt (2/- to 2/0' per lb). GH FUSE Market firm. No official quotations for New Zealand, which is practically cleared, with the exception of a small supply on flic West coast.
