Sylvia is the ward of the wealthy Stafford family, the aristocrats of Pine Level. V oung Bert Stafford, the spoiled son of an indulgent mother, is in love with Sylvia, too,-aml resents Duncan’s youthful woo jug. One day Duncan receives his long hoped for appointment to West I’oint. With a strong resolve to make something of himself he sets out lor the -Military Academy. THE FAMOUS LYNCH FAMILY THEATRE ROYAL TO-NIGHT It is with much interest that we announce to-night the return visit of one of the most celebrated musical organisations in the world, viz., the Lynch Family of Bellringers. Their delightful entertainment and their complete mas tery over their many instruments, including tiie bells, organ chimes, and the adorable glassopiione, are well remembered by Nelson theatre-goers, who will no doubt give his talented family a hearty welcome at the Theatre Royal this evening. An excellent concert company also assists, including Mdlle. Lc Marchaut-. noted . Parisian dramatic sopranoj from l.e Grande Opera House; Miss Lilian Thomas. English soubrettc and raconteur; and Mr Harry Baxter, a favourite character comedian and humorous entertainer. Owing to important theatre bookings at Christchurch ond Dunedin Messrs Lynch regret that the season is limited tc< to-night only. The box plan is at- Begg's. A.big audience can be assured to witness this excellent entertainment.
