On Saturday evening a rribbage team from Takaka played a match against a team representing E. Buxton and to. Play was very even till almost the finish, when the visitors drew ahead and finally Won 'by 50 games to 42. The visitors. who included in their number, two players over 60 years el age and one of 70, were enteriaineil al supper. A ret urn maleli will be played al Takaka short Iv.
