The billiards match, 18,000 up, was won by McConachv by 414 points. P>olli he and Falkiner were in good from on Saturday afternoon when the best breaks wore—McConachv 131, 249 and 146; Falkiner 291, 234. the totals at the end of the session being—McConachv 17,267; Falkiner 16,789. ' There was a large attendance at the final session, which yielded interesting play, though both men seemed to find difficulty attunes. Falkiner made the best break, 453, and passed McConachv at 17,305, hilt was unable to maintain the lead. The Now Zealander pulled up the leeway and ran out when Falkiner was 17,586. McConachv s best breaks were 295, 289. and 106 unfinished ; Falkiner’s 133. 453 and 197.
