WELLINGTON WINTER SHOW
The Wellington Show Association, which was inaugurated last year 'for Lite purpose of booming Wellington and surrounding districts, has been particularly fortunate this year in securing the Wellington Harbour Board’s new .Pipitea Shed, which is sufficiently commodious to house both the Winter Show and tlu- Dominion Industrial Exhibition, while another shed close by has been set apart- for the live stock section and the Wellington Kennel Club’s Show and the Poultry, Pigeon. Canary, and Cat Society’s exhibition.
It is satisfactory to note that the whole of the space, allotted for stands has been applied for, and from the nature of the exhibits it is quite evident. that tlie general displa.v will be better and more comprehensive than was the ease last year. Some of the exhibitors in this section are going to considerbale expense in order to make their displays attractive, one of the chief features being a very’ fine display by the combined electric firms of Wellington.
