At the Magistrate's Court to-day All Ting was fined .-025 or three months’ imprisonment for assisting in the conduet of a common gaming house. Two other Chinamen were fined £2 Tor being found on the premises. A Chinaman who was heavily fined hist week for running a pakapoo house gave evidence. that Ah Ting had nothing whatever to do with pakapoo. The Magistrate, however, decided that a lino would be in order.
