FOOTBALLERS INJURED

CHRISTCHURCH. July 12. A. .Millar, who was playing half back for Linwood in the Einwontl-Alorivale game at Lancaster l’ark, was injured just before the match ended, lie was removed from the field to the hospital in an unconscious condition, and suffering from concussion. Alct'abe. a Alerivale player, who was injured during the match, and did not return to play after the interval, was also sent to the hospital for an X-ray examination, and it is fearoi* that a rib is broken
Sydney Alexander, a member of the Christchurch Seventh Grade team, broke a forearm while playing against Sydenham at Lancaster Park. He is receiving attention rtf the hospital. DUNEDIN, duly 12. James MeKerrow. a member of the Southern team, received an injury to his side in the senior Rugby .match against University A yesterday. He was removed to the hospital. The injury is not considered serious. WELLINGTON. Julv 12.
While playing for Technical College Old Boys, against Kaiwarra at lvilbirnie Park, in third-grade Rugby football on Saturday, Gray Russell, aged 24, sustained injuries to his leg, and was removed to the Hospital. Russell, who is single, resides at 114, Tinakori Road. The full extent of his injuries is not vet known.
