ON MELBOURNE WATERFRONT

Developments which occurred during the week-end have changed the delaying of the steamer Monnro from being an isolated case of union interference to' one affecting the inter-Statc shipping policy. It, is now believed in maritime circles tliaf" this dispute will lead to a c'imax in the tangled affairs of the waterfront in Melbourne. The steamship company decided to pay off the Monaro’s crew and tie file vessel up.
