THE REP. TEAM
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —Re “Player’s” letter in last night’s edition in answer to “DoubleBlue.” He says the Union received a letter from one of the leading clubs supporting the Union’s decision. Sir. ! hope it is not- tlie leading club that Mr Gallagher has been of such great service to during these last few years. If so, 1 am sorry to see it. “Player” also speaks of the Union’s power. Ask him or any other Rugbvite if he can show me where a body of men who are elected by delegates of clubs, have the power to pass a vote, of no confidence on a person selected tinder the same conditions a.s they are their selves, without calling a special general meeting straightaway,, not. three weeks lienee. I am in hopes of having some valuable information from a man who says be is not a member of the Nelson Rugbv Union.—l am. etc., INTERESTED.
