The Australasian Waterloo Cup meeting is in progress. New Zealand sent no dogs or representative. By request. the Association nominated the dog. “Head Mistress,” owned by Hayes Bros, to carry the laurels of the Dominion, and Mr T. Lough lane to represent New Zealand at forthcoming conference on coursing matters. Head Mistress, so far, has survived the first- ties. A conference of the Board of Control of the Australasian Coursing Union, met, at which New Zealand is represented hv Messrs T. Loughlane and J. Bateman. It fixed the headquarters of tlio Union for 1925-26 at Sydney. Mr 1L Coombes was re-elect-ed president. The question of venue of the nextAustralasian Waterloo Cup, was left in abeyance, pending a communication with the Queensland Coursing Association.
