If you are engaged to one man, you are not entitled to be free witih other men. If you’ve promised to meet him at a certain time be punctual. Don’t play fast and loose with him. He might break away completely. Don’t be jealous because he loves his mother. Remember that a good son makes the best husband. It doesn’t help him to like your relations if you run down his. Remember that many a cheap house is the result of a too-expensive engagement. Don’t demand that ho gives you every minute of his spare time. An engagement is a pact, not a penance. If you have to do the cooking after marriage, take lessons' before. Don’t demand that he must give up football—dr you. Possibly ha may choose the latter 1 Don’t order him about too much. The smallest worm will turn sooner or later. Avoid lovers’ tiffs. Two tiffs may make one quarrel, hut. two quarrels have been known to make one broken engagement. Love may be Hind, hut don’t put it to the test by allowing your fiance to see you in a bad temper—or with your hair in curlers. The length of the honeymoon should depend upon the depth of your sweetheart’s purse. The test of true love is perfect loyalty to the one you love.
