(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Reuter's Telegrams.)
LONDON, April 27
Mr Dobbic, President, of the National Union of Railwayman, speaking at Haoknall, predicted an early crisis and an unparalleled situation in the railway world. Ho said the men would present to the companies the first- programme of minimum conditions ever demanded, including all workers of Great Britain, lie further predicted that the companies would reject the programme. The companies complained that they would have to pay dividends out of reserve funds, but it was better to pay wages out of reserve- than to pay. dividends to those who do not work.
