The total Dost and Telegraph revenue from all sources for the year ended 31st. March was £3.043.511, compared with £2.688.953 in t.’he previous year. Postages contributed £1.143.389; money order and postal note commission, £50.703: private box hag rents and rural delivery fees, £49.856: miscellaneous receipts (postal) £168,056; paid telegrams. £749,100; telephone exchange rentals and miscellaneous (telegraph) £902,407.
