AUCKLAND, This Day
A large motor car, occupied by a driver and four passengers, was wrecked on Beach Road at, midnight. The cartouched a tram pole. All the occupants except, the driver were thrown out. One, believed to be Norman Cox, was severely injured and in a state of unconsciousness, was removed to hospital. Two ladies are suffering much from shock.

The man injured in tlie motor car accident is Douglas Cnx, of Wellington, son of Dr, Cox, dentist, Timaru ; age about 25.
