CONTROL OF PRODUCE

PROTEST FROM CANTERBURY (United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Canterbury Chamber of Commerce has issued a circular protesting against the action of the dairy control board in regard to marketing overseas. The circular concludes: “The world has had an extraordinary example of the disastrous failure of this class of socialistic legislation in Russia. It. seoms obvious that no responsible Labour Government would to-day repeat- this, hut the extreme Socialistic party will welcome such orders in the council from the Government as substantial contributions to future communistic regime.”
