EXCHANGE OF LANGUAGE OFFICERS

Japanese and American war departments have arranged exchange of language officers, who will be attached to tho regiments of both armies for a period of six months. Secretary for War Weeks approved the plan, emphasising that this was the first such arrangement with Japan, and that "it is indicative of tho friendly feeling existing between the two War Departments and armies.
