DEGENERATION
"“' OF CiVIUSED WOMEN “ - \ .2} V.! ' . '■*<(■: Jfr —4—V '! )«>’ ‘ RELATION TO CANCER “CHIEF VICTIM OF CIVILISATION’’ (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Sun Cable.) . , LONDON, Dec. 28. ; “The primary factor in the development of cancer is the degeneration of civilised women,” writes .Sir Arbuthnot Ln.no in tho Franco-British Medical Review. He says: “The poor, badly nourished thing lias lost most of the nor" mal physical characters which were such a marked feature of the magnificently built savage. Her capacity to bear and produce children lias become complicated by much trouble and innumerable sequelae which often make life miserable. Her sexual character is very defective. She. is degenerating in size. The vast majority are puny and insignificant.. Their brains are over stimulated by so-called education, and by unsuitable food and drugs. They are unable to provide sufficient nourishment for their offspring and are obliged to depend on deleterious combinations supplied by food chemists. Their unfortunate Children, deprived of suitable food,' become constipated and their tisdevitalised by prisons absorbed from the intestiii.es. Their teeth are consequently defective and ’ their noses and throats are invaded by organisms producing adenoids, large tonsils, and pyorrhea, owing to inability of the poisoned tissues to' resist the invasion of disease germs." Woman is the chief victim of civilisation, for which she is indebted to man’s crass stupidity.. Civilised woman has been subservient to man for centuries arid not allowed to participate in the making of laws controlling the community health of the people.Thb Dispatch interviewed Sir Arbutlinot Bahe, who said the ignorance of,men and' woineft in' all questions relating to foods is the primary factor in the deVelopmerib M cancer. He would like to see a society formed to prevent cancer by teaching people what foods they can safely eat and what to avoicl. v The peasantry in North.lndia, .where cancer was practically unknown, never touch meat. • They live mainly on bread made of wheatmeal flour. White" bread te not a, food—it is a sham and a sourco of physical degeneration, ill-health and disease. Woiiiaft’s craze for a silhouette figure is a, grave danger to themselves and the future of the race. Women arc trying to look like boys. They"destroy tho character of their sex. Rubber corsets and similar ' contrivances reducing the size of the hips' and chest will prove most-deleteridus .to flid future race. They interfere with nutrition and are liable to cause degeneration of the most important. organs. ' Women are thereby exposing themselves to the danger of turners'! rind cancers.' The trouble, is woman is much more ape like than man. They do these things because other women do them. Can you imagine men wearing red waistcoats or a similar fad just- because someono else had done so?
