SALE OF GERMAN PLANTATIONS (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) I Banters Telugraniit.. LONDON. Nov. 24. Groat interest was taken in the auction at London to-day of valuable German plantations in the C'nmeroons without reserve, but with restrictions in regard to th© nationality of purchasers. Replying to a question whether anyone buying full ownership of a plot could legally immediately according to the terms of contract turn it over to a German national. the auctioneer said ‘Yes.” The Molwe estate realised £22,500. Asked whether the names of purchasers would bo given the auctioneer said that no names would be given at nnv of , their sales.
