OPIUM CONFERENCE
JAPANESE ATTITUDE

The Daily Chronicle’s Geneva correspondent reports that the Japanese delegation to the Opium Conference state that they received instructions from their Government not to make any concessions regarding certificates of importation of opium. This, it is considered, will possibly render the conference abortive.
