Mr Nosworthy stated yesterday that Cabinet had decided, m order to encourage investigation by private individuals, to offer a bonus not exceeding £IO,OOO for an efficient, practical, and economica? remedy for the eradication of blackberry, other than by cultivation, farm management, or tree planting methods.
