LIME CRUSHING PLANTS
NO LOANS TO FARMERS
MR HUDSON ' DISSATISFIED
(From Our ParJ
iiamentary Correspondent)
WELLINGTON, This Day. Dissatisfaction was expressed by Air Hudson in the House yesterday at the reply given by Mr Nosworthy to, his j question regarding making loans . avail- j able to those desirous of establishing J lilne crushing plants. , I Mr .Hudson said ho had brought this matter up in the House in several sessions. He would like to see some systematic scheme arranged for assisting farmers in this direction in Ins electorate. Farmers wanted lime but could not get it as crushing plants were few and far between and there were no railways. Where farmers were ready to epeiui their own money in developing the production of the soil, he thought the Government- should do something to help them by making loans available for Abe-establishment of lime crushing planta. .
