At the monthly meeting of the Nelson Land Board there were present:Messrs N. C. Kensington (Commissioner of Crown Lands), chairman, Messrs R. Win, W- C. Mirfin, and C. Alncmahon. Leave of absence was granted to Mr It. Patterson. Applications fot Land : —Mr A. W. Merritt, applied for a pastoral license over 20G acres of Crown Land in blks ii apd vii Ngakawa S.D. Approved, subject to deposit for' survey.—Sec. 1(5 ' blk xv, Takaka S.D., 149 acres, P.L., Fredk. Hope. Approved, subjectto kitaki S.D., o2 acres 2r lip G. L., K. E. Richardson. Approved.—Blk j, Waitapu S.D., 130 acres 0.L., It. Bishop. Approved at £5 per annum. Transfers:—Secs. 10, 12, blk v. Waitapu S.D., 948 acres, H. G. Kings la nd to Pit pu Pine Lands Co., i Ltd. Approved.—See. 9, blk 1, Oparara S.D., <578 acres, F. M. Smith to B. J. it. Simpson. Approved. Correspondence and Miscellaneous: —Air A. Saunders wrote regarding see. 9, blk vi, Pakawau S.D. Resolved to declare the section forfeited.—The Stoke Road Board forwarded proposals for expenditure of thirds accrued to 31st March, 1924, amounting to £33 18s lid. Approved.—The Commissioner reported that the address 9f Mr J. E. M. Baird, the lessee of see. 20, blk xi", Waitapu S.D., is Unknown. Resolved to declare, the section forfeited. Forfeitures and Surrenders.—Part see. 10, blk xvi, Ra-hu 5.D.,’840 acres 2 roods. Half-yearly rental £l3 os.Resolved to declare the section forfeited.
