In introducing a Bill in the Assemblv providing for naturalisation of subjects of lato enemy Powers in the South-West Protectorate, on the samo lines as those proposed by the late Government, the Premier said that, before giving the territory representation in the Union it must have some form of self government, which, however, must have tho full consent of the people. After consulting the people he hoped next session to introduce a Bill providing for self government.
