FLOODS IN CHINA

WASHINGTON, Aug. 15. The Red Cross Society cabled 100,000 dollars for the relief of victims of the floods which are sweeping several provinces of China. The United States Minister Schurman at Pekin that 10,000,000' people are affected and 10,000,000 dollars will bo needed for relief work.
