LONDON, July 31 The Evening Standard states that the Empire Exhibition will reopen in 1925 for another season. The title will be changed to the World’s Exposition of English Speaking Peoples. Mr Sulman, responding for the dominions at the dinner of tho international congress on architectural education, advocated the creation of a royal institute of architects of the British Empire. He said tho appointment of a vice president from each dominion would help to solve the initial problems. Air Sulman leaves for America on August 30th to investigate on behalf of the Commonwealth the question of government by commission. In the House of Commons, replying to a question in the course of which attention was drawn to the Empire Settlement Bureau’s offer of assisted passages to Australia to carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers, masons, and plumbers and a suggestion made that these men should not be encouraged to emigrate in view of the importance of the retention of skilled men for house building, Mr Lunn, Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Trade, said he considered interference unnecessary. After the aeroplane crash on the frontier on July 28, bombing operations were suspended for two days to give an opportunity to A rap Malik, of Shabi Khel, to submit to the Government terms for handing over squadron leader Capel, who fell into their hands. Arabs brought Capel and submitted conditions. Capel was well treated while in the Arabs’ hands and is quite fit and uninjured. The operations are now terminated.
