SUDDEN DEATH

TE AWAMUTU, This Day. A. E. McDonald, farm manager at Tokanui Mental Hospital, died suddenly early this morning. He was about as usual instructing the men for the day's work when without warning he collapsed and expired before aid could be summoned. He had been farm manager since 1919 and was recognised as a very capable official, and was highly esteemed. He was aged forty and leaves a widow and family of five.
