ADVERTISING CONVENTION

LONDON, July IS

The International Advertising Convention lias concluded. A telegram was sent to Mr Mackenzie King and President Coolidgc expressing an earnest desire to co-operate towards economic restoration of the world. There were enthusiastic scenes at the farewell session. Delegates, ranged under banners representing forty-two countries and States and led by an orchestra, joined in singing national tunes of different countries.

The meeting finally passed a resolution urging a conference of leaders of nations with a view to preventing wars.
