IRON DUKE SEA SCOUTS
At a well attended meeting of the Committee of the above troop held in the Sea Scouts quarters in the Rowing Shed, Port Nelson, a number of supporters met by invitation to discuss the question of instituting the matter of paying off the debt on the purchase o f the Rowing Shed by the trust board, of the Nelson Local Association of the Scout movement. The matter has been taken up with characteristic energy by the Committee, and their project has met with promises of support from those interested. The meeting decided that, the first function for the above worthy object shall take the form of a bazaar to be held early in October, and a strong committee was set up to discuss the preliminary details and sectional uctivities The* bazaar will be held in town, and later it is intended to hold further outdoor functions during the summer months.
