An old man named Charles Johnson, otherwise Carl Peterson Bottleman, who lived in a tin whare on the riverbank, was found dead in bed by workers in a gravel pit nearby, who bad not noticed him about for a few days. Deceased was an old resident of the district. The Coroner decided that an inquest was unnecessary.
