A youth named Jack Earfcita, aged 17, was out shooting with a party on Sunda v. A companion fired at a rabbit and (lie pellets struck a stone and rieoehetlecT. One entered the eye of the lad. He was brought to a. doctor, who sent him to a specialist in Wellington on Monday. It is feared he will lose his eye. Farfeita was on a holiday from Eketahuna staying with friends.
