BRITISH LABOUR MINISTRY
SIXTH DEFEAT
(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Eeuter's Telegrams.)
LONDON, June 25.
The novelty attaching to Government defeats in the House of Commons is somewhat wearing off. For the sixth time the Ministry received a setback when an amendment on the Traffic Bill was carried by 195 to 168, Conservatives and Liberals combining in the majority. The amendment pressed . the Transport Ministry to adopt certain arrangements for submitting the regulations to Parliament, which the Minister objected would hamper his department’s work.
The defeat is regarded as unimpor taut.
