June 24 The shipowners have again met the Institute of Underwriters and their Australian and New Zealand colleagues, who are visiting London. The whole question of insurance classifications was discussed, and the Institute is now considering its reply. Visiting American naval men at Torquay sought to frustrate Filipinos from dar.cing with white women in a public dance hall. A fracas arose and knives, sticks, and stones were used, the- position becoming alarming .Luckily a naval patrol arrived and restored order, though there were numerous serious casualties on both sides.
