COMMENT ON MORATORIUM (United Frees Association.) AUCKLAND, June 24 The conference of the National Dairy Association was presided over by Mr A. Morton. The report stated that tlio membership was 293. The accounts showed a credit of £525. The chairman, in opening the conference, commented upon the enormous increase in butter and chese exports and said they had reached the crucial point with a drop in prices. Possibly lower prices would have to be accepted. The producer should set his house in order and strive to increase porduction. Speaking of the moratorium Air Morton said: “The sooner it comes to an end the sooner we will get back to a stable state of affairs. The longer It is extended the longer will trouble to many farmers last.”
