SHIPBUILDING DISPUTE
SETTLEMENT EXPECTED

LONDON, April 6
The shipbuilding labour dispute is assuming a brighter aspect. The employees’ federation states that a conference between the executive representatives and the Southampton local committee arrived at a basis of arrangements which recommended that a mass meeting hr held on 7th April It is understood loth sides are hopeful of a settlement early during the coming week.
