HUGE AIRSHIPS
FOR COLONIAL SERVICES

LONDON, July 22
Burney airships will be employed in the services to India and Australia. Huge machins of a new pattern, capable of carrying 150 passengers at an average speed of 80 mles per hour, will be able to make a continuous flight of more than 5 days. The first should be built within eight months. The first stage will be to India bringing it within 68 hours of London and shortening the delivery of Australian mails by ten days. Egypt will be reached in 31 hours. The machines will have a capacity of five million cubic feet, and a length of 760 feet. There will be single berth sleeping cabins for all passengers each with a separate entrance from the keel gangway. The saloon will accommodate sixty and the dining room half the comple nent.
