VALEDICTORY
PRESENTATION TO MR T. D. MILNE A pleasing function took place at the Kelson Technical School this morning when Mr Thomas D. Milne, engineering instructor, who is leaving tor Westport on Saturday morning, was presented by the Director and staff with a travelling : rug as a token of esteem. Air Milne was, at the same time, handed the following testimonial signed by all the members of the staff:“We, the officers and instructors of the Nelson Technical School, desire to express to you our great regret at your approaching departure ior another sphere of work. During your six years’ connectoion with us, you have earned our highest esteem as a loyal and genial fellow-worker, while your strong land efficient management of your classes I tms benefited us all by the prestige and | respect it has gianed for the school. We i wish you all success in your new sphere of service and trust that you will rapidly I rise to the position to which you are en--1 titled by your character and gifts.”
