LODNON, April 25 It was announced during Shakespeare birth day celebrations that the inhabitants of Stratford-on-Avon contributed £IOO,OOO to a memorial theatre fund, while the rest of the world contributed £20,000. Shakespeare library, containing 15.000 volumes of the world’s finest, collection of literature on one subject, is without a librarian or catalogue because the trustees have no funds.
