LONDON, April 26 Mr Ormsby-Gore, replying to a ques lion said bis attention had been direct ed to the formation of a migration com mittce for Devon and Cornwall. Colonei Newcombe left in March to discuss the question with the Western Australian authorities, but the Government was nof asked to make a contribution. Negotiations were not sufficiently advanced for the question to be considered upon Jolonel Kewcornbc’s return.
