In a paper on the Slaughtering of Stock Major W. C. Quinnell • discusses the question as to which is the most humane of the various methods and advances a definite opinion. Other matter includes articles on Cow-testmg Association Work; the Tomato-caterpillar Moth; the Top-dressing of Fiorin Grass Land; and Vine Culture under Glass. Regular monthly features complete the issue.
