ARRIVAL OF THE WAIWERA
FOR HOMEWARD LOADING
The Shaw Savill and Albion Company’s steamer Waiwera arrived at the outer anchorage from Wellington early this morning. She recently delivered cargo from Hamburg and Antwerp at Australian ports, and came from Newcastle to Wellington. The Waiwera is one of the oldest of the Shaw Savill boats and has visited Nelson previously. She will come into port this afternoon. Captain W. F. Clifton-Mogg is in command of the Waiwera, and his officers are:—Chief, Mr F. G. Brookes; second, Mr 11.. Hemploman ; third, Mr E .T. Baker; chief engineer, Mr G. Geadi; second, Mr E.' Seymour; third, Mr Richardson; fourth, Air G. Mitchell; fifth, Air E. Douglas; chief refrigerating engineers, Air A. Roberts; second, Air AI. Johnson; purser, Mr W. Lawson; chief steward, Mr C. H. Preston; second, Air A. Hines; ATarcoui operator, Mr D. Ronnie. The Waiwera will load frozen meat, wool, etc, for London. She proceeds from here to Auckland and'thence to Wellington and Picton. The vessel is timed to leave the latter port ou Dec. 15th for London, via Alonte Video and Tenerifi'o.
