CONVICTIONS AT WELLINGTON {United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. George Alexander Brown was apprehended with two others in a. raid yesterday and charged with using a building occupied'by him as a common gam ing house. The police staled that hi nine days after the Christchurch races his taking were £7OO. For the Ashhurst meeting yesterday lie took £3l 5s by II a.m. Lie was fined £4O. Two months ago he pleaded guilty and was fined £75. John Peter Donnelly and J. Patrick, hairdressers, the other two arrested, were fined £lO yesterday.
