NELSON ACC LI MAIIS AT lON SOCIETY DEER CULLING PERMITS may now be obtained from the Secretary to cull Deer in that area South of Spooner’s Range and Ben Nevis, and North of Mount Robert and the Howai’d up to December 30th, 1922, subiect to the following regulations: — REGULATIONS 1. In any acclimatisation district in which special regulations have been made authorising the acclimatisation society, or any person authorised by the secretary of such society, to kill deer, the secretary of the society, or any person duly authorised in writing by the said secretary, may sell or otherwise dispose of the venison or skins of any deer taken or killed pursuant to such-regula-tions. 2. Any person authorised under section 32 of the said Act to take or/kill deer may sell or otherwise dispose of the venison or skins of any deer taken or killed pursuant to the authority granted under that section. 3. No person shall dispose of or retain the head or antlers of any stag taken or killed in pursuance of the aforesaid special regulations or warrants issued under section 32 without the consent of the acclimatisation society in whose district the deer were so taken or killed. 4. Any person who commits a breach of any of these regulations shall be liable to a penalty of £2O. W. A. ANDREWS, Secretary.
