EXAMINATION RESULTS

TEACH ELIS’ CERTIFICATES

The Secretary of the Nelson Education Board has received a proof pull of tlih results Of the recent teachers’' certificate examinations. In forwarding the lists the Director of Education states (hilt they arc as yet unchecked and subject to such slight corrections as may be found necessary before finally gazetted.

The following successes were obtained by candidates who sat at either Nelson or Westport. Candidates desiring information regarding other centres arc advised to communicate With the Education Office.

The first list (1) contains the name,'* of successful candidates for Classes A, B C, and D. Teachers’ certificates will be issued to such of these ns have, produced satisfactory evidence of age and good character, mid have pasted the special medical examination required, and have fulfilled the necessary conditions as to length of service and efficiency in tend ling. The second list (II) gives the names of those who have passed in two or more subjects of Parts 11 and 111 of Class C, but have Vet to complete the examination.

The third list (III) contains" the names of those who have obtained ‘‘partial passes’’ in the Class D Examination and the fourth list (IV) those who have gained passes or partial passes in one or more "groups” of Class D. In the first list (V) are given the names of the candidates whose work lias been deemed worthy of “special mention.”

The next examination will take place in August, 1923. Notice must be sent to the Director of Education so as to reach him not later than May 31st, 1923. Candidates who have yet to complete the examination must observe this rule equally .with other candidates, and must not expect to receive any further information of the ’ date at which the notices become due.

Certificated teachers who have gained promotion at this examination may send their certificates to the Department for endorsement, LIST 1 Passed for Class C. (Tied, Eveline Annie.
