PRESENTATIONS TO THE DEAN The Bible School, which for the past seven years, has met weekly under trie leadership of the Dean of Nelson, he d its closing session last night. Since us inception" the School has studied the. great Christian doctrines; various related topics; every book of the Lime (m rapid survey); and, in fuller detail, the Gospel of St. Matthew, the Book ot the Acts, and the Epistle to the Homans The attendance has included members,ot all the churches in Nelson, and during the last-vear has been larger than ever. At the'close of the Dean’s lecture last night Bishop Mules expressed the good wishes of the members of the class, am their sense of the value of the teaching given, and asked the leader’s acceptance of some gifts by way of remembrance of the many happy hours spent together m Bible study. These gifts took the form of a silk umbrella and a set of silver salt cellars. Other members spoke in affectionate terms of their appreciation of the work done, and of their regret at the Dean’s departure. , ...
