Haawell, who did not appear, was •lined 20/-, eosta 7/-. K. G. Clements, who was similarly charged, admitted being on titc premises, but denied that. Jio was there tor the. purpose of procuring liquor. Fined 20/- and coste 7/-. C. A. Burns pleaded guilty to being found on licensed premises during the currency of a prohibition order, and also with,being found mi licensed premises. For being found on licensed Remises defendant was convicted and ordered to pay 7/- coats; and on the, second charge he waa fined 40/-, costs 7/-. DEFENCE '"PUOSEOOTIONS J. G. Perano, with several previous convictions, pleaded guilty to two charges of failing to render personal service. Convicted and fined £3, costs 7/ -. The Magistrate said he would double the fines every time defendant, appeared before him* A. C. Craig was fined 5/- and costs; "K. N. Kerr (previous convictions) 20/and coats; N. IT. L.
