EARTHQUAKE

The seismograph at Riverview record(dan earthquake shock too indistinct to locate the exact position, but _ apparently there has been a big disturbance about eight thousand miles distance. ADELAIDE, Oct. 12. A fairlv severe earthquake was left a! Morph eit Vale. It lasted three seconds, making houses creak. No damage v,-y.s done The shock was presided by a heavy rumbling sound and was foilowtd hv a brief rain squall.
