ATHENS, Aug. 23
Two thousand Italian soldiers arrived at Haidar Pasha, intended as reinforcements for the army of occupation. The British authorities insisted That thev should not he landed in view of the uselessness of increasing the forces after the Greeks’ promise not to advance on Constantinople.
