ROME, Aug. 23. A mutiny occurred on the steamer Philadelphia, 10,232 urns, now Greekowned, at Naples preparatory to sailing for New York, carrying; returning; tourists. The crew pillaged the hold, containing valuable merchandise, ami set fire to the vessel. The officers retreated to the bridge after a hand to hand struggle and fired several revolver shots among the mutineers. A detachment of Carbineers was summoned and opened lire and subdued the riot They arrested 100. The vessel is stilt burning and hundreds of firemen are pouring in water.
