LONDON, August I. Horatio Bottqmlcy was expelled from the House of Commons.. The speaker rend a long letter in which Bottoralcy expressed regret at having brought a slur on the House of Commons. “Whatever irregularities there had been, however unorthodox his methods in the conduct of concerns carried on with the most: patriotic objects, he was never guilty of conscious fraud Expulsion from the House of Commons was a greater punishment more endearing than any sentence of a court of law.
